About Me

Caroline A. Peterson
Caroline Peterson was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia, 30 minutes south of Washington, D.C., which has a metropolitan life and a diverse poplulation. When she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend Meredith College, it was certainly a change. Her artwork became a creative outlet exposing the Meredith population to her experiences. She enjoys using photography to express her ideas, and does not use previously published photographs in her work.

Caroline has had an interest in art from a young age. She enjoys drawing, thinking “outside the box” and exploring new things.  Her art interests include music in addition to photography. She enjoys listening to many different genres, and plays the flute and guitar. Her photography interests started with a camera in elementary school, and have progressed through many different types including camcorders, 35mm, medium format, and digital

She discovered Graphic Design at a young age and was accepted into a high school program specializing in Information Technology, Graphic Design and website development. During this program she found that she enjoyed creating works of art including layouts. Ms. Peterson continued her studies at Meredith College where she gained a foundation for success and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design.
